In my fiction novel The Secret
of the Veil, an edge-of-your-seat suspense, we explore some of the mysteries of life. Why we are here ... for what purpose?
We look at moral, spiritual and ethical choices we must constantly make, and some of the consequences of those choices. Most
importantly, we address where the world is today in terms of biblical prophecy.
The Secret of the Veil
The
Secret of the Veil is an exciting 409-page roller coaster ride of a story. Written in a uniquely conversational and intimate
voice, it blazes new trails in fiction with its phenomenal use of multiple genres:
BOOK BLURB: On the surface, Alexis Ashley appears to live an ordinary existence,
when in reality she is experiencing unspeakable horrors that threaten both her sanity ... and her life.
Compelled
to follow where mysterious forces are leading her, Alexis helplessly endures what she cannot escape: frightening visions that
whisk her back in time to observe poignant moments in the lives of strangers ... who happen to be dead; a roommate she suspects
of practicing the dark arts; and perhaps most frightening, people who appear quite normal, but are actually possessed by demons.
As time runs out, Alexis desperately seeks to unravel these puzzling encounters, their relationship to the veil (birth
caul) that covered her face at birth, and the paranormal turn her life has taken.
BOOK EXCERPT: When mom and I return to Pleasant
Street we're unusually quiet. Neither of us feels particularly comfortable in the house. Again, we wander into the living
room, and sit down to talk. I'm sitting in the chair that Jessica sat in that first day, and mom is in what was my
seat.
As we talk, my eyes drift up to the painting over her head, and my body goes cold. I rise, walk
over and quietly study it for a moment. It is an abstract; a weird jumble of unidentifiable objects, except that within
the mixed-up mess I can make out what appears to be faces.
Then, suddenly I see the faces clearly.
They are demons - monstrosities cleverly hidden in a crazy quilt of confusion. I feel a nearly uncontrollable urge to scream.
Instead, I take a deep breath, swallow hard, and walk back to my chair.
Mom takes one look at my face
and without a word, stands and like before, examines the painting. When she sits back down she says sternly ...
"I want you to come home."

ADDITIONAL BOOKS
The Veil (Birth Caul) Separating Fact from Fiction ...
and More
A non-fiction
exploration of the real life phenomenon known as 'the veil'; a tissue that on rare occasions covers the face and heads
of infants at birth. From ancient times this tissue has been called the veil by some, and the birth caul by
others. Those so born are referred to as 'caulbearers'.
Through the ages there has aways been the belief among
many that the veil is somehow imbued with qualities that bestow upon its recipients certain blessings and powers, both paranormal
and otherwise, that might include ... unusually good fortune, the gift of second sight, healing powers, magical powers, or
at the very least, great intuitive powers. The veil is a phenomenon that is a mystery, and certainly
a suspense that is often believed to be steeped in spiritual relevance.
Before the Disaster Surviving A Disaster
Through Spiritual & Physical Preparedness
A step-by-step guide to preparing for and surviving a disaster that could range from a tornadoe or hurricane to a nuclear holacaust. In this time of global climate changes when severe weather has become a daily pattern;
in a time of epic proportion tsumanis; devastating hurricanes; massive mudslides; heatwaves and blizzards, it is time to get
serious about taking care of ourselves and our loved ones; time to stop denying the possibility that a serious disaster could
happen to us.
Making it through a disaster is often only the beginning of the survival challenge. Preparation
for before and after a disaster must be a spiritual ... putting God in the plan ... as well as a physical reality. The
author survived the worst hurricane in the history of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Hurricane Marilyn of 1995, and no, she
wasn't prepared.
